  I have had no problems at this joint. Food is always fresh and hot. The biscuits are um, um gooooood! And it is what it is with the wait. But the chicken is so good its worth the wait to me and my family!

  Right before arriving at Playland-Not-At-The-Beach, my husband had a sudden craving for chicken that he HAD to satisfy. Weird.
  
  There were 3 of us in the car and none had ever been to a Church's before. The drive-thru was like any other, but the menu was new to me! I wasn't at all hungry but I had to try SOMETHING! So I tried the Cajun rice (side) and one piece of crispy chicken. Husband had a chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. Food came pretty quick and I asked for hot sauce, but it was already in the bag. Sweet. Wish I had a couple extra packets. It was pretty good stuff! My piece of chicken was crunchy and good. I liked the crispy breading but it was a little greasy for me after a few bites. Good flavor though. I don't know how to explain the cajun rice. It was like a mash of rice and meat. We all agreed there was meat in the rice. It's probably my fault for not knowing that cajun rice has meat, but I didn't want unidentifiable meat (or any meat for that matter) in my rice so I tossed this.
  
  Husband's sandwich lasted about as long as my rice. He took a few bites and then took a look inside. The patty just looked really unappetizing. It was a grey-ish color in the middle and something just wasn't right. His fries ended up in my lap at this point as he tried to wash away all the bad with his giant soda. I decided to abandon my piece of chicken after viewing his. I'd return here, but only for the hot sauce.
